Royal Sotogrande opened in 1964, and is still one of Europe's top ten courses. As recognition during it's thirtieth year,
Sotogrande was awarded the "Royal" prefix. Designed by the American Robert Trent Jones, Sotogrande's layout has well-established
vegetation with pine, cork oaks, eucalyptus and palm trees. Water plays an important role, affecting holes 12, 13, 14, 16
and 17 which seems to make the course longer than its 6,224 meters. The great consolation is the total lack of rough on the
immaculately groomed fairways. The club hosts the annual Sherry Cup-European Amateur golf masters. COURSE

Florida). This course is like a stadium course with water, large greens and has hosted many tournaments over the years. At
6440 yards and par 72-74, the course is tough and usually in excellent shape. A delightful course to play, with plenty of
carts, excellent practice facilities and clubhouse. COURSE DETAILS: Par 72 SSS 72, Length

were improved and widened and new tees and buggy tracks were built. The result is a much more forgiving layout that is acceptable
for golfers of all abilities. Magnificent views over the Mediterranean and Gibraltar offer the excuse to take a breather at
the cliff top to drink in the scene before tackling the next hole. COURSE DETAILS: Par

3 miles from Marbella town RATING: Course No. 32 in continental
Europe. DESCRIPTION: Real Club De Golf Las Brisas was founded in 1969. The
course was designed by one of the world's greatest golf designers, Robert Trent Jones. Las Brisas includes numerous water
obstacles: there are ten artificial lakes fed by two streams. The greens, the majority of which are raised, are amply protected
by bunkers. The results of Robert Trent Jones' efforts were truly notable and original, obtaining a difficult and attractive
course. The outcome is a round which requires a precision game of golf. Apart from playing host to some of the best golfers
in the World, Las Brisas has been visited by numerous personalities and celebrities. The relationship between the Spanish
Royal Family and Las Brisas is particularly noteworthy. On the 23rd May 1995 H.M. the King, Don Juan Carlos I, granted Las
Brisas the right to use the Royal prefix in recognition of its brilliant past and promising future COURSE

in Nueva Andaluc’a, the Mecca of European golf. Boasting newly qualified European Tour player Diego Borrego amongst
it's regulars, Aloha is a private club, which welcomes visitors, although members do have priority. The varied vegetation
makes each hole different to play and as a rule by hitting straight and staying on the ample fairways danger will be kept
at bay. The large, often difficult greens however are a different matter, none more so than the heavily guarded 10th, a par
5 whose bordering lakes make it memorable for its natural beauty. COURSE DETAILS:

ARCHITECT: Cabell B. Robinson. LOCATION:
Situated between Fuengirola and Marbella turn off the N340 highway at La Cala de Mijas and drive 8 Kilometers inland. DESCRIPTION: La Cala features 36 holes, a David Leadbetter Golf Academy and a six hole
par 3 course, all designed by American architect Cabell B. Robinson, a former employee of Robert Trent Jones. The North Course
starts with the three flattest holes of the resort followed by a narrow and interesting Par 3, where you are recommended to
hit the ball onto the green or you might find yourself in the ravine or bunker. Watch out for the 5th a difficult uphill index
1 hole, where a good drive is needed. If you have time, take a walk up to the white tee box on the 16th where you will find
spectacular views of the entire resort. The 18th hole is also interesting, it is downhill all the way to the 19th where you
can relax on the terrace of La Cala's spectacular clubhouse after a good round of golf. The South Course is also a wonderful
course where the 1st, 9th, 10th, and 18th are all located beside the clubhouse. The 5th and the 12th are two interesting holes
with water hazards. A picturesque par 3 on the 11th and watch where you hit the ball on the 9th or you might end up in trouble.
It is recommended that you purchase a Strokesaver before playing in order to know how to beat the course and not to let the
course beat you. COURSE DETAILS: South Course Par 72 SSS 72, Length 5,966
Meters. North Course Par 73 SSS 73. CADDIES: Caddies available in high season
only. BUGGIES: Buggies available. HANDICAPS:
MEN 28 - LADIES 36 WEATHER: Spain enjoys a sunny Mediterranean climate HOTELS NEARBY: La Cala Resort, Marbella Club Hotel, Puente Romano Hotel.
DESCRIPTION: Torrequebrada may be the only golf course of Benalmadena, nevertheless
it is a rare jewel among the hills above the Mediterranean. A hilly course with spectacular scenery, each hole is memorable
for its individuality. One of the attractions of the tortuous Torrequebrada are the fabulous sea views. Designed by The "Son
of Nature" Pepe Gancedo, who said...."Why move the earth when a golf hole should follow the natural contours....".Opened in
1976, it has been the home of the Spanish Open. The course layout winds up and down the hillside with plenty of trees and
bushes; and if the natural hazardS were not enough, six holes are affected by lakes and bunkers.Players will find the greens
to be well guarded - a very challenging course!. Located 3 kilometres inland, Torrequebrada has stunning sea views and is
very popular with visitors. COURSE DETAILS: Length 7,093 yards. Par 72. HANDICAPS: Men 28 - Ladies 36. CADDIES:
Caddies available in high season only. BUGGIES: Buggies available. BUGGIES: Buggies available. HOTELS NEARBY:

Europe. DESCRIPTION: CLocated next to the Grand Prix circuit near Jerez, Montecastillo
opened for play in 1992. The official inauguration took place during the 1994 Andaluc’a Tour of Spain Masters Open in
which course designer Jack Nicklaus competed together with his sons Jackie and Gary. Following the "Golden Bear's" preference
("I hate uphill lies") Montecastillo is mostly flat and features raised tees. But where the terrain takes control a downhill
course has been engineered. An elevated tee looks down for forty meters over a broad sweep of fairway bordering a lake to
the left with the green just beyond. COURSE DETAILS: Par 72 SSS 72, Length
6,043 meters. BUGGIES: Not available. CADDIES:
Not available. HANDICAPS: Men 28 - Ladies 36. HOTELS
NEARBY: Almenara Hotel.
ARCHITECT: Alejandro Maldonado. LOCATION:
Vejer de la Frontera, Cadiz (1 ¸ hours from Marbella). RANKING: Ranked number
50 in continental Europe. DESCRIPTION: The 18 holes are played on wide carefully
tailored fairways, bordered by Mediterranean vegetation and forest. This course requires precision and accuracy to keep the
ball in play, and is considered by professionals and experts as one of Europe's finest golf courses. Dehesa Montenmedio can
present a challenge to professionals, especially if the wind blows, but equally it has been designed with the club golfer
in mind and the course is easy to walk. Although there are many bunkers they have not been sited with the sole purpose of
complicating your game of golf, and the width of the fairways compensates for the precision required to stay out of the vegetation.
Water is also in abundance, while the greens, according to experts, are some of the best to be found in Andaluc’a. COURSE DETAILS: Par 71 SSS 71, Length 5,751 meters. BUGGIES:
Not available. CADDIES: Not available. HANDICAPS:
Men 28 - Ladies 34. HOTELS NEARBY: Almenara Hotel.
